About This Course

This course is designed for anyone who wants to understand and apply the ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System, not just learn the theory. The six-day program includes 20 training hours in total: 12 hours of live instructor-led Zoom sessions (two hours per day), plus 8 hours of practical exercises related to the course outside the live sessions. You will learn your responsibilities within the system, what is expected of the rest of the team, and how to build a team capable of leading the system professionally. The course focuses on preventing food safety hazards before they reach the product and putting the organization on a path of continual improvement.

What You'll Learn

Understand the structure and requirements of the ISO 22000:2018 Food Safety Management System.
Select and categorize control measures and develop the hazard control plan using OPRPs and CCPs.
Understand Relationship between ISO 22000 and HACCP
Deep understanding of HACCP (Hazard analysis and critical control points )
Understand and apply PRPs as the foundation for controlling the operational environment.
Establish effective traceability and emergency preparedness and response systems.
Conduct hazard analysis and identify and assess food safety hazards.
Analyze the organization’s context and identify relevant interested parties and their needs and expectations.
Understand and apply validation, monitoring, and verification of control measures.
Manage nonconformities, potentially unsafe products, withdrawal, and recall processes.
Evaluate FSMS performance through monitoring, measurement, internal audits, and management review.
Apply continual improvement and keep the Food Safety Management System updated.
Understand leadership and top management responsibilities within the Food Safety Management System.
Identify risks and opportunities, establish food safety objectives, and plan how to achieve them.
