About This Course

This course provides a practical understanding of the auditing guidelines based on ISO 19011. Participants will learn how to plan, conduct, report, and follow up management system audits effectively. The course focuses on building auditor competence and improving auditing skills according to international best practices.

What You'll Learn

Understand auditing principles according to ISO 19011 guidelines.
Understand First-Party, Second-Party, and Third-Party Audits and the purpose of each.
Understand Internal Auditing and its role in evaluating and improving management system performance.
Establish and manage an Audit Programme, including priorities, resources, and associated risks.
Define Audit Objectives, Scope, and Criteria.
Plan an audit, prepare an Audit Plan, and assign responsibilities to audit team members.
Understand the roles and responsibilities of the Audit Team Leader, auditors, and auditee.
Develop and use Audit Checklists as a tool to support the audit process.
Conduct an audit from the Opening Meeting through to the Closing Meeting.
Develop interviewing, questioning, observation, and document and record review skills.
Collect and verify Objective Evidence and apply appropriate Audit Sampling techniques.
Evaluate evidence against audit criteria and determine Audit Findings and Audit Conclusions.
Identify and write clear, evidence-based Nonconformity statements.
Differentiate between Nonconformities, observations, and opportunities for improvement.
Prepare an Audit Report and effectively communicate audit findings and conclusions.
Understand Audit Follow-up activities and actions resulting from the audit.
Understand the competence required for auditors and Audit Team Leaders and how it is evaluated and developed.
Apply the complete audit cycle through practical cases, exercises, and audit simulations.

Requirements

Participants should have a basic understanding of management systems and auditing concepts. Familiarity with ISO standards or quality management principles will help you gain the maximum benefit from this course.
